Winter Training

An opportunity for advanced meditation students of Buddhism and Integral Theory to do an extensive practice each winter. The training commences in December and ends in February. It includes week long retreats, dharma talks, check-ins, group meditations, study of theory, body/breath work, individually-tailored practices, nature walks and samu. This offering is for a limited group of dedicated students inclined intellectually to deepen meditation practice as well as to study and engage in Integral Theory and Practice.

The programme is guided by Daicho, the lineage holder and innovator in the (Integral) Rinzai Zen tradition. Residency & study are facilitated by Zen priests/priests in training in the spirit of the ‘Eternal University’. Participants are invited to step into co-creation and to bring their genuine inspiration for deepening practice. In order to build a sustainable group field on site, we encourage people to stay for as long as possible. There will be a maximum of 8 people accommodated in individual rooms.
